Portal v2 Customization
In the Therefore™ Web Client it is possible to customize the branding, display and text strings of the Therefore™ Portal v2. The customization settings for the Portal can be accessed by clicking 'Customize' in the Therefore™ Portal tab of the System settings page. The System settings page is accessed through the avatar menu. See:

Portal Customization
The Portal customization page is split into three tabs, Style, Layout, and Content.
Style
In the style tab, administrators can define the brand assets and the style of the login page for their organization. This page displays a preview of the Portal on the right side of the screen which will update as changes are made. For information regarding WCAG contrast requirements when changing the accent color, see:
WCAG Requirements for Portal Customization
Logo
Click the plus sign button to browse the desktop for a JPG or PNG file to be used as a logo. The image size cannot exceed 128x128 pixels. This logo is displayed in the top left corner while browsing the Therefore™ Portal, and in the login page.
Accent color
The accent color is used in the interface for buttons and highlighted text. Clicking the edit button will open a color picker where a color can be selected either by using the sliding scale and selecting from a gradient or by entering the RGB values or the hex code into their respective fields. These fields update as a color is selected from the gradient as well. Additionally, the current selection is displayed next to the previously saved accent color for comparison.
Login background color
The login color is used in the background of the login page. Clicking the edit button will open a color picker such as the one mentioned for the accent color.
Layout
In the layout tab, administrators select how menu items are displayed for users navigating the Therefore™ Portal. A preview of this layout is displayed on the right side of the screen.
Global navigation
Select whether the menu items should be displayed as sidebar with a tree view structure on the left side of the page, or as a single row of items at the top of the page.
Group by column
Enabling this allows Portal users to group hit-list results by columns. To do so, users must drag and drop columns together. This functions the same way as the equivalent feature in the Therefore™ Web Client. See:
Grouping by column
Content
In the content tab, administrators can customize text content for the Therefore™ Portal and manage the localization settings as well.
Localization settings
Supported languages
Select, from the list of available languages, which ones should be supported for content localization.
Default language
Select which of the supported languages should be used as both the source text language and as a fallback language if the user's browser language is not supported by the Portal.
Source text and Translation
Here, administrators can customize several labels and messages that are displayed for the user in the Therefore™ Portal. Each language has a default text string for each message or label. The source text will be displayed in the default language picked above, and any change done to the source text must then be manually translated into each of the other supported languages to ensure accuracy.
