Action Menu

Below is a list of the possible actions a user can take as they browse the repository or work with workflows and tasks.

	Add Case Opens the "Create New Case" dialogue box.
	Add New Document Navigates to the "New document" page.
	Bookmark Bookmarks the current selected document.
	Claim Instance Claim a workflow instance that is pending action.
	Comments Opens the comments section for the document / workflow instance. Given adequate permissions, the user may read, edit or add comments.
	Create Task Opens the "Create task" dialogue box.
	Delete Item Deletes the selected case, document, or other object from Therefore™.
	Delegate Instance Delegate a workflow instance to a different Therefore™ user.
	Download Opens the Download dialogue box. Allows the user to download the contents of the document and select the available file type, and if the original file name should be kept.
	Edit Case Header Opens the "Edit case header" dialogue box.
	Edit in Office Opens and checks out the file for editing with Office.
	File Preview Opens and closes the preview pane for files.
	History Shows a history of events involving the case, document or workflow, and which user made those changes.
	Info Pane Opens and closes the information pane about the object.
	Linked objects Lists the number of linked objects to the document. Clicking will display which objects are linked.
	Move Move the selected document to another case. The document's case header fields will be automatically updated to match the new case.
	Open AI Document Assistant Opens the AI Document Assistant allowing the user to send predefined prompts or free-text prompts to an AI model to receive document-based answers. Comparing documents is not currently available in the Therefore™ Web Client. More information can be found in the Therefore™ Viewer manual: AI Document Assistant Pane
	Open Case / Document Opens the current selected Case/Document.
	Open in new tab Opens the current selected Case/Document in a new web browser tab.
	Print Opens the Printing dialogue box. Allows the user to print files attached to the document.
	Process Opens the processing dialogue box. Allows the user to take the required actions to process the workflow.
	Reroute Allows the user to reroute the current workflow instance.
	Save Saves the current document to Therefore™.
	Share Create a link to share Therefore™ documents with other users or with external people. This functionality works the same way as in the Therefore™ Navigator: Sharing a document
	Search Opens a search bar to perform a simple full-text search within the currently viewed document.
	Show Annotation Options Displays the different tools available to annotate the file in the document. PDF only. For a description of each option, see: Annotation Options
	Show Index Data Displays index data for the current document.
	Start Workflow Starts a Workflow process for the current document
	Unclaim Instance Removes claim from current workflow instance.
	Workflow History Opens a dialog window listing a history of events relating to the workflow.

Annotation Options

The following table lists the different annotation options and their respective icons. Annotations can be deleted by selecting them and pressing the delete option in the ellipsis menu, or pressing the delete key on the keyboard.

	Add text box Allows the user to select an area with their mouse cursor on the PDF where text can be added. The text font, size and color can be customized. Additionally the text box's borders and background can be customized as well.
	Add sticky note Allows the user to select a place in the PDF where a sticky note is added. The sticky note will be displayed as a small yellow text box icon. When saved, clicking the icon will display the note.
	Highlight selected text Allows the user to select text in the PDF to highlight. The color of the highlight can be customized by selecting it.
	Draw freehand with pencil Allows the user to select between a freehand pencil or eraser tool.
	Add rectangle / ellipse / polygon / line / polyline Allows the user to add one of the selected shapes to the PDF. The shape's size and dimensions can then be adjusted. Additionally, the fill color, stroke color and thickness can also be adjusted.
