Settings page

The user settings page of the Therefore™ Web Client can be used to personalize both general and account settings to customize the behavior of the Therefore™ Web Client.

General tab

Customize the general settings of the Therefore™ Web Client.

The following settings can be configured in the general tab:

Start Page

Set a start page for the Therefore™ Web Client. The choices are: Repository (default), Dashboard, Workflow and Tasks page, or Last visited page.

Search Results

Set a maximum number of search results that should be shown when a search is run. The default of 500 is the recommended setting. The maximum number of search results can be set to be anything from 100 to 5000. Use the slider labeled 'Always show a warning when exceeding the limit' to turn the warning stating that there are more search results then are displayed on or off.

Language & Formats

Language:

Customize the language, date, and number format settings for the Therefore™ Web Client. Use the slider labeled 'Use browser settings' to start or stop using the same settings that are used in your browser.

If 'Use browser settings' is turned off the language the Therefore™ Web Client is displayed in can be selected from a drop-down menu.

Format:

By default, the usual date and number format for the region the selected language is spoken in is used. Un-check the box labeled 'Use the language's default formatting' to be able to select the date format from a drop-menu. For example, this allows the user to use English as the language for the web client but DD.MM.YYYY as the date format if it is more appropriate for their region or easier for them to use.

The time format can be set to 24 hours or 12 hours (am/pm) by checking the respective boxes.

The number format can be selected from a drop-down menu.

Workflows and Tasks

Customize working with workflows and tasks using these settings.

Auto-claim:

Set workflow tasks to automatically be claimed by your Therefore™ user when opening them in the inbox.

Auto-advance:

Automatically opens the next workflow task or ad-hoc task in the inbox after a workflow task or ad-hoc task is processed.

Account tab

Access settings specific to your account.

Save all changes

Save the changes made to the settings.
