E-Mail Setup
Clicking 'Edit' while configuring workflow e-mails opens the e-mail setup dialog. This dialog is the same for any type of workflow e-mail.
This dialog contains a WYSIWYG editor that allows you to style HTML e-mail templates. Click the 'Code View' (<>) button on the right side of the dialog to switch between the WYSIWYG editor and the HTML code editor depending on your preferences.
Depending on the type of e-mail, the sender, receiver and CC addresses, as well as a subject and message body can be specified. In addition, macros can be used to add information at runtime. Please find a list of workflow macros on this reference page:

The date format used by the Therefore™ Server when sending e-mails is drawn from the language / regional settings of the server. An administrator can define a specific date format in the Therefore™ Solution Designer's advanced settings under 'General' > 'Date Format'. |
Default Values for Workflow E-Mail Settings
Please note that the column titled 'Possible Values' applies to the WYSIWYG editor for workflow e-mails. Using HTML code e-mails can be styled in any preferred way, provided that the styles are supported by your e-mail client of choice.

Attach link to workflow instance
A hyperlink to the workflow instance is included in the e-mail message. When the user clicks this link, it automatically opens the instance for processing.
Name
Allows a user to configure the name of the link to workflow instance.
Attach link to main document
A hyperlink to the main document is included in the e-mail message. When the user clicks this link, it automatically opens the document in the Therefore™ Viewer.
Name
Allows a user to configure the name of the link to main document.
Attach main document
The main document is added to the e-mail as an attachment.
Name
Allows a user to configure the name of the main document.
Embed Link
Creates and attaches the generated shared link to the e-mail message.
File format
The document may be shared in its original format or PDF.
File name
The name of the file will be shared under.
Password
The password required to access the document.
Link expires in (days)
The document will be accessible by anyone with the link for the amount of days set.
