Automatic Links

Add Link
A category link can be defined. It consists of three elements.

Link direction
An arrow pointing outwards (to the right) means that documents links will be visible only from this category.

An arrow pointing inwards (to the left) means that documents links will be visible only from the linked category.

An arrow pointing both ways means that document links will be visible from both categories.

Category name
The name of the category that should be linked.

Field name
The name of the linking index data field.

Fields can only be linked if they are of the same type. When the field values are equal, an automatic link will be created.

It is also possible to establish a link between the following field types: Numeric Counter and Number Field Formatted Counter and Text Field

Delete Link
Documents links can be deleted by selecting them and clicking this button.
