Common Scripts

Right-clicking on the Common Scripts node opens a context menu.

New Common Script
Opens a dialog for creating a new common script for files.

New Folder
Create new folder (sub-folder) within this object.

Export
Export profiles.

Security Report
The security report contains all security settings for all profiles. It allows you to document the final security configuration after installing a system. The security report is stored as a CSV file.

Right-clicking on a specific profile opens another context menu.

Open Common Script
Open the selected common script.

Delete Common Script
Delete the selected common script.

Show Reference Objects
Shows objects that are referenced with the selected common script.

Rename
Rename the selected common script.

Export
Export the selected common script.

New Common Script Dialog
Add the name of the common script that will appear under the Common Scripts node.

Script Editor Dialog
Input a common script that can later be referenced in Indexing Profiles, Template Profiles, and Workflows.

Note: When more than one common script is added to an Indexing Profile, Template Profile or Workflow, scripts are executed in the tab order from right to left.
