Before starting, it is necessary to configure the XMl Web Service in the Therefore™ Solution Designer and enable Therefore™ XML Web Services API. See:
Therefore™ XML Web Service

  1. Download and install the Therefore™ Go application on the mobile device. Starting the application for the first time will take the user to the settings dialog.

  2. Enter the connection settings matching the ones in the Therefore™ Solution Designer.

  3. Once all settings have been configured and entered, press OK to start Therefore™ Go.

  • Http connections are no longer supported.

  • Additionally, Self-sign certificates are not supported in Therefore™ Go.

Multi-Tenant Systems
In addition, the configuration file "TheXMLServer.exe.config" must be changed. This file can be found on the server where the Therefore™ XML Server was installed, in the Therefore™ installation folder. Within the configuration file the relevant section needs to be activated.

Settings in the Therefore™ Solution Designer

The Therefore™ Go settings in the Solution Designer can be accessed by right-clicking on the Therefore™ Object, pressing Settings, opening the advanced tab and entering 'mobile' in the search bar.

Security

Automatic log in on Mobile Devices
The user will be offered the option to automatically be signed in on their mobile device. If automatic sign-in is to be enabled, this option should remain at the default value of 'True'. To disable it for security reasons set the value to 'False'.

Restrict the mobile app to read only
Set this to true to stop any changes to the Therefore™ system and its data from being done through Therefore™ Go.
