  • Therefore™ Capture Client engine requires an ISIS driver, or VirtualReScan V.5+.

  • Therefore™ Viewer requires a scanner with TWAIN support.

  • For embedded playback of videos, Windows Media Player and all required codecs must be installed. In addition the video extensions must be listed in the Media Extensions list in Therefore™ Solution Designer advanced settings.

  • Connection to the Therefore™ server must be available via a LAN or WAN connection.

  • Certain prerequisites, for example Microsoft .NET, are installed automatically if the Therefore™ Setup finds these missing before installation.

  • Inline powershell scripts are signed, so the setup can be installed on a PC with high security settings.

Therefore™ Integration License for the Universal Connector
3rd Party Application Windows applications using standard Windows controls are supported, but each application has to be checked for compatibility to definitely know whether it works with the Universal Connector or not. Please refer to the Universal Connector manual for more details: Determining Suitability
Permissions Logging onto the Therefore™ Server and configuring a profile requires administrator rights on the Therefore™ system.

Therefore™ Reporting

Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services

  • SQL Server Reporting Services are provided by Therefore.

  • In order to edit reports, an .rdl editor must be installed. We recommend downloading the free Microsoft SQL Report Builder compatible with your database version. The latest version of the report builder is recommended.

Microsoft Power BI

  • A Microsoft Azure account is required to access Microsoft Power BI.

Therefore™ Mailbox Monitoring

  • Therefore™ Content Connector is provided by Therefore.

  • Microsoft Exchange, IMAP or POP3 email account.

Integration with Microsoft Office

  • Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Microsoft Project are supported with Microsoft Office 2016, 2019, 2021, and Office 365.

    The new Outlook for Windows app is currently not supported by the Therefore™ Integration with Microsoft Office

  • Open from Therefore™ does not apply to integration with Outlook.

Integration with eSignature providers

  • Integration with various eSignature providers is provided by Therefore.

  • For manually passing documents to an eSignature provider using the Therefore™ Viewer, an account with that eSignature provider is required.

  • For automatically passing documents to an eSignature provider using the Therefore™ Workflow an account with that eSignature provider and a Therefore™ edition including workflow are required.

  • The eSignature service needs to be installed.

Integration with cloud storage providers

  • Support cloud storage providers: Microsoft OneDrive, Google Drive, Dropbox, Box.

  • Therefore™ Content Connector is required for downloading documents from cloud storage to Therefore™. The Therefore™ Content Connector is provided by Therefore. A valid license is needed.

Citrix environment

  • Therefore™ Client software can be installed on the Citrix environment.

Tungsten Power PDF

  • Tungsten Power PDF Advanced version 5.3 and above.
