Documents or Cases in the Hit-list

Searching for documents or cases produces a hit-list.

The first two hit-list columns show an icon related to the document's creation and check-out status.

Column Icon Description
Modified Status Icon New Item Icon

Represents a document that has been saved in the last 7 days.

Modified Item Icon

The document has been modified in the last 7 days.

Version Control Icon Checked In Icon

The document is checked out by the current user.

Locked Item Icon

The document is checked out by another user.

Cloud Checked Out Icon

The document for collaboration has been checked out by the current user.

Cloud Locked Icon

The document for collaboration has been checked out by another user.

The third column shows the type of document. If the document contains files of multiple types a generic icon is displayed.

A right-click on one of the items in the hit-list opens a context menu. Most options in the context menu are identical to the options in the Home tab or the Workflow tab of the ribbon menu:

The context menu includes the following unique options:

Disable Retention Icon

Disable / Enable Retention Policy

This option is only available for documents. Selecting this option disables the retention policy for an individual document. This document will then be excluded from deletion if a retention policy is set up for the document's category.

Close Case Icon

Close / Reopen Case
This option is only available for cases. One or more cases in the hit-list can be closed or reopened.

 

Re-index Full-Text

Queues document for re-indexing by Therefore™ Full-Text Server. Whole categories, cases, and folders can be re-indexed through the Therefore™ Console. This option is only available to users with Operator permissions.
