Therefore™ XML Web Service

The XML Web Service enables users to connect the standard Therefore™ applications via HTTPS.

The Web API is a part of XML Web Service and allows a third party client to connect to the Therefore™ server via SOAP and REST web service endpoints.

Therefore™ Server Connection

In the Therefore™ Solution Designer, go to File > 'Connection'.

To connect from an installed Therefore™ client via internet using the XML web service connection the service address and the tenant name need to be specified.

Server Address

The server address follows the pattern specified below. For Therefore™ On-Premises the server address is set by an administrator during the configuration of the Therefore™ server. It can be reviewed in the Therefore™ Solution Designer, by right-clicking the Therefore™ root object > clicking 'Settings' > and selecting the XML Web Service Tab.

Tenant Name

If applicable, specify a tenant name under 'Multi-Tenancy Settings'.
