Recycle Bin
The Recycle Bin displays a list of all documents and cases deleted by the current user.
Filter
Opens a dialog for filtering specific search criteria.
Type
Choose to search for cases, documents, or both.
Category / Case Definition
Choose to search for the document or case in a specific category or case definition. This option is only available if the user has set the Type to either 'Case' or 'Document'.
Deleted By
Choose to search for documents deleted by a certain user. Both active and inactive internal users are available here. This option is only available for administrators.
Date
Enter the date range to search for. Dates can either be entered by clicking on a day, month, or year and manually entering the desired value, or by opening a calendar dropdown menu and selecting a date.
Restore the case when restoring a document from a deleted case.
If this is box is checked, the associated deleted case will be restored when a case document is restored.
Include all documents when restoring a case
If this is box is checked and a case is restored then all deleted documents within the case are also restored.
Restore
Select this option to restore a deleted document or case. A dialog displaying the document index data appears if this option is selected. The index data can be changed, if necessary. Click on View to open a local copy of the deleted document in the Therefore™ Viewer, or on Restore to restore the document.
If more than one document has been selected they will all be restored without displaying this dialog.
Erase
This option is only visible to users with sufficient permissions.
When a document or case is erased, a confirmation dialog will appear. The user can review the logfile location, and are informed about the document retention process.
If the box labeled 'Erase documents from media' is unchecked the files will remain on the end storage media, although they will not be accessible to the Therefore™ system since any database references will have been erased.
Close
Closes the Recycle Bin dialog, and returns the user to the info page.
