OCR Zones

A preview of the currently active document will be displayed. The cursor can be used to draw a selection around the chosen area of the page. Alternatively a saved filed can be loaded by clicking the open-file icon on the Preview window menu bar.

Once an area has been defined, the OCR Zone dialog will open with the position and size automatically filled out. Users can then specify a Name, the page, as well as Document Break.

Users may also specify an OCR character set for additional accuracy. As an example, if it is know that the value is always going to be a number, then [0-9] can be specified. Clicking the arrow button will provide the user with a list of presets.

Add
Allows the user to specify the OCR zone.

Edit
Opens an existing OCR zone for editing.

Delete
Deletes a selected OCR zone.
