Users and Groups

Configuring users and groups for Therefore™ integrated security.

Users
Configure Therefore™ internal users. If Active Directory is configured, new SAML users can also be added.

By right-clicking on Users, new users can be created or disabled users can be displayed.

Username
Specify the Therefore™ username for the new user.

SAML domain (for SAML users)
The configured SAML domain of the account.

Display Name
The name that should be displayed for the account.

E-mail
The e-mail address associated with the user account.

Account is disabled
Check this box to disable the user account.

User must change password at next logon
Force the user to change their password.

Force two-factor authentication (2FA)
Activate two-factor authentication for the user account.

Member of (Add / Remove)
Add the user to security groups.

Service Accounts
Add APIs or automatic accounts to allow connections from 3rd party services to Therefore™ without using 2FA. For configuration, the service accounts client ID and client secret is necessary.

Service accounts can be added to security groups.

Client ID
The client ID of the service account.

Display name
Enter an intuitive name for the service account.

Client secret
The value of the client secret of the service account.

Account is disabled
Check this box to disable the service account.

Member of (Add / Remove)
Add the service account to security groups.

Groups
Manage Therefore™ internal groups, or groups from an external user directory.

To add an internal Therefore™ group, right click on Groups and select 'New Group'.

Name
Enter an intuitive name for the security group.

Members (Add / Remove)
Add members to the security group.
