Microsoft Office Template Profile

The wizard for creating or modifying a Microsoft Office template profile is split into three tabs.

Document Creation Tab

Profile Name
An intuitive name for the profile.

Category or case definition
The name of the source category or case definition.

Microsoft Office template
The template from which to create the new document.

Script
A script can be created which will be executed before the execution of the field assignments.

Microsoft Office Control/Assignment
Here you can see the mapping of controls to the category's index fields. The recommended way for configuring these is directly from the Microsoft Office application.

Add Content Control
Additional input fields (content controls) can be added to the profile. The recommended way for configuring these is directly from the Microsoft Office application.

Add Content Control
Adds content controls to the profile.

Add Form Field
Adds form fields to the profile.

Add Document Property
Adds document properties to the profile.

Delete
Delete the selected control.

Save Document Tab

Save the new document in Therefore™
If this box is checked, the new document will be saved into Therefore™.

Indexing Profile
The indexing profile used to save the new document into Therefore™.

Storage Format
The document will be saved into Therefore™ in the chosen format.

Sign with personal certificate
before saving, the user can select a personal certificate with which to sign the PDF.

Apply external timestamp
An external timestamp is applied to the signature before saving. You can configure which external timestamp server to use in the Solution Designer. An external timestamp makes sure that the time is exactly correct and not dependent on the server settings which could be changed.

Send Document Tab

Send the new document by e-mail
If this box is checked, the new document will open in the e-mail client after it is saved. The document will be automatically attached to the new email.

Outlook template (.oft)
The template needed to create the email.

Send document as
The document will be sent in the chosen format.

Script
A script can be created which will be executed before the execution of the field assignments. This script can also contain functions that can be called from the assignments. Clicking on Objects... will open a window with some predefined objects.

Microsoft Office Control / Assignment
Here you can use the drop-down box to assign the index data fields from the chosen category or case definition to the available Office controls for sending the new document by e-mail.

Add Assignment
Additional assignments for Office controls can be added to the profile.

Add “To” Assignment
Adds a “To” (recipient) assignment.

Add “CC” Assignment
Adds a “CC” (Carbon Copy) assignment.

Add “BCC” Assignment
Adds a “BCC” (Blind Carbon Copy) assignment.

Add “Subject” Assignment
Adds an assignment to fill in the subject of the e-mail.

Add “Body” Assignment
Adds an assignment to fill in the body of the e-mail.

Add “From” Assignment
Allows the e-mail to be sent from a different account to the default.

Delete
Delete the selected assignment.
