Therefore™ Content Connector

The Therefore™ Content Connector is used to automatically save information to Therefore™.  It can monitor input folders, mailboxes or third party services such as eSignature integrations. Using an indexing profile, it can extract index data and then save a document or case to Therefore™. Regardless of what is monitored, the following components are always required:

  1. Indexing Profile
    This profile defines what should be saved to Therefore™ and where the index data should come from.

    1. What should be saved to Therefore™:
      - The document itself;
      - Another document;
      - An empty document (form);
      - A new case.

    2. What should source the index data:
      - PDF, XML, Text and CSV files;
      - An existing Therefore™ document;
      - The file name;
      - A combination of the above.

  2. Therefore™ Content Connector profile
    This profile defines what should be monitored and which profile should be used to process incoming files.

    1. What should be monitored:
      - Input folder;
      - Mailbox;
      - Signature Monitoring;
      - Download Service Monitoring;
      - etc.

The following apply to using the Therefore™ Content Connector with Therefore™ Online:

  • Documents are uploaded to the Therefore™ Content Connector using an FTP connection. Connection details and credentials are provided by Therefore Corporation when a Content Connector license is activated on a Therefore™ Online system.

  • Each tenant is restricted to one FTP account to use for uploading files to the Therefore™ Content Connector.

Right-clicking on the Therefore™ Content Connector object in the Therefore™ Solution Designer opens a context menu, containing the settings as well as the export and security options for the object.
