Therefore™ Content Connector
The Therefore™ Content Connector is used to automatically save information to Therefore™. It can monitor input folders, mailboxes or third party services such as eSignature integrations. Using an indexing profile, it can extract index data and then save a document or case to Therefore™. Regardless of what is monitored, the following components are always required:

Indexing Profile
This profile defines what should be saved to Therefore™ and where the index data should come from.-
What should be saved to Therefore™:
- The document itself;
- Another document;
- An empty document (form);
- A new case. -
What should source the index data:
- PDF, XML, Text and CSV files;
- An existing Therefore™ document;
- The file name;
- A combination of the above.

This profile defines what should be monitored and which profile should be used to process incoming files.-
What should be monitored:
- Input folder;
- Mailbox;
- Signature Monitoring;
- Download Service Monitoring;
- etc.

Right-clicking on the Therefore™ Content Connector object in the Therefore™ Solution Designer opens a context menu, containing the settings as well as the export and security options for the object.

Settings tab
Content Connector Schedule
The daily start and end times during which the processing sequence will run automatically. By default it is set to run all the time.
Blocksize for database insert
The maximum number of documents to be inserted into the Therefore™ database in a single transaction.
Month names
This setting can be used when custom month names occur in the documents to be imported, for example, if the month names have been abbreviated to Jan. instead of January. Right-click on a month and select 'Add Name' to manually enter the custom month names used in the source. These month names will then be used to correctly convert captured dates.

The following logging settings can be specified for Content Connector events.

The settings below Content Connector events allow the user to specify a Weekday, Time, and Size that factors into the Archive setting.
Archive
The frequency of log file creation can be defined based on the Weekday, Time, or Size setting:
Setting | Description |
---|---|
Every Day | The log file is archived every day at the specified Time |
Every Week | The log file is archived once a week on the specified Weekday and Time |
Every Month | The log file is archived on the first day of each month |
On Size | The log file is archived as soon as the specified file size in MB is exceeded |

Content Connector Log Break Settings
All of these settings correspond to a setting in the Logging tab.
Day
This setting corresponds to the Weekday setting in the Logging tab. The possible values are 1 (Sunday) to 7 (Saturday).
Mode
This setting corresponds to the Archive setting in the Logging tab. The values are 1 (Every Day), 2 (Every Week), 3 (Every Month), and 4 (On Size).
Size
This setting corresponds to the Size setting in the Logging tab. Entering a value sets the file size in MB.
Time
This setting corresponds to the Time setting in the Logging tab. The time is set in minutes: 1 am corresponds to 60 and 1 pm to 780.
Content Connector Max Faulty Rows
Specify the maximum number of files that were sorted into the Faulty folder that can be added to the database.
